Established in 1993, we have grown to become the European market leader in playground safety flooring. Our team leaders have an average length of service of eight years whilst all of our installation teams undergo intense in-house training to ensure they have unrivalled expertise in creative surface installations and are recognised as ‘pioneers of wet pour graphics.’ We tackle many challenging projects; from rooftop installations to indoor shopping centres. Hence, we have become renowned for our abilities to manage projects with restricted access.
Our office team is passionate about customer service and after sales care of your wet pour and rubber mulch surfacing. They are always on hand to offer technical advice, estimating support and project guidance.
Whilst our head office is situated in Burnley, Lancashire we install all around the globe. There is no location too far for our teams; with installations throughout Scandinavia, in Portugal, Equatorial Guinea and Italy.
RTC Safety Surfaces is our specialist contracting division is supported by our other companies: Billy Bounce, serving schools and nurseries and RTC Sport – experts in golf course paths and pitch surrounds.

Last year, over 2.5 million tons of our surfacing was recycled from worn tyres – saving 65,000 large truck tyres from harming the environment

INTERNATIONAL WET POUR INSTALLERS
Whilst our head office is situated in Burnley, Lancashire, we have installed playground flooring around the globe including the locations shown on this map. Every week we send many of our specialist installation teams to projects in Scandinavia. With no location being too far from home, we have also installed surfacing at Portugal, Equatorial Guinea and Italy.
Accreditations and Standards
We are proud to have achieved membership of the API (Association of Play Industries), the leading trade body in the play sector. The API promotes the best practice and the highest standards within the play industry. To claim membership, we have to follow a strict professional code of conduct and by The Federation of Sports and Play Associations’ Articles of Association.
Besides our API membership, we can also provide teams that are CSCS certified and who are DBS checked.
The standard of our surfacing has also been certified. Certificates for both our wet pour and rubber mulch can be provided as both have been tested to meet British and European Standards.
