Finally! Spring had sprung and temperatures soared through May. We had an incredibly busy month with several projects consisting of HUGE area sizes and detailed graphic designs.

Isle of Dogs

In amongst other installations, we were down at Isle of Dogs, London, installing over 260m² of wet pour safety surfacing at the play area of a new residential area. The design featured random line markings that were carefully hand cut with incredibly straight lines.

What Else?

In the midst of all this hard work, the rewards were flooding in! Schools and nurseries across the UK have been letting us know their amazing feedback of our work.

“We’re absolutely thrilled with our new play surface! The men worked extremely hard and the end result is superb. We have 90 children a day and the parents and staff have all been thrilled with our new play area.”

Royalty Visits Installation

The first week of May saw one of the projects we’d worked on, get a Royal stamp of approval! His Royal Highness, The Duke of Kent, headed to King George Playing Fields down in Barford where we’d installed our rubber mulch safety surfacing for an exciting new play area. Wormholt Park, London

Our first prestigious installation of the month was at Wormholt Park, London.  We were brought in to install both our wet pour and rubber mulch surfacing at Hammersmith and Fulham Council’s first inclusive playground.

The wet pour design was cleverly crafted into the shape of a dragon’s body across almost 500m². Not only did our expert installers have to meander the design around the play equipment, they also had to install over mounds as part of the dragon’s body.

More information on this project can be found on the Hammersmith and Fulham website.

Outdoor Sports Ground Surfacing

Osterley Sports Ground was our next big project in May. It took a lot of skill to hand draw the design within the area, to then hand cut it out and fill with various colours of wet pour.
