Although we have specialist installation teams working overseas every month, October proved to be a particularly busy month for us over in Sweden.
Within the month, we worked on over 15 projects providing many children’s play areas with safety surfacing. In this particular month, the furthest we travelled was to Skellefteå, in the north east of Sweden – over 1106 miles from Rose Grove, Burnley where our head office is based. But what proved particularly challenging, was the drop in temperature and how it didn’t compare to UK weather. Nevertheless, our specialist installers were prepared and installed the playground surfacing at the high standards we’re recognised in the industry for.

Along with Sweden, our regular work within the UK continued from Glasgow right down to Weston-Super-Mare, calling through South Wales. Prestigious projects included a scientific-style playground at a new school in Llandeilo along with supplying and installing wetpour safety surfacing at a Parkour area in the Midlands.
November is expected to be another busy month over in Sweden with teams also flying out to Denmark! Installations are still planned throughout the UK, at many local authority playgrounds, school and nursery yards along with unique, one off projects that require our attention to detail.
We’re very proud to have had another successful month supplying and installing safety surfacing. There’s no greater reward than seeing children play safety in playgrounds across the world!
