Back in 2015 we headed over to Guernsey to install wet pour safety surfacing for a new Mental Health And Wellbeing Centre. Named The Oberlands, the centre would serve people of Baliwick with mental health needs aged 18 or over.
Spending three days on the project, out team installed a custom blend wet pour that combined black, purple and green creating a porous, non-slip area that could be used all year round. As such we were thrilled to hear that the centre has been shortlisted in the Guernsey Design Awards 2018, having previously won two awards at the IBI Architects ‘Design In Mental Health Conference’ in 2016.
It meant so much to our team working on a project that would undoubtedly help so many people within the community, and we wish the centre luck for when the winners are announced later this month!
