Enviro-pave is a surface made from a mix of recycled rubber granules and decorative stone aggregates. It meets all the Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) requirements and over two sites we have installed approximately 10,000m² for Horticon alone!

After the installations of Enviro-pave, Steve Holden from Horticon stated:

I have worked with RTC for many years. They always deliver exceptional service and high quality installations. Both the client and I are very happy with the pathways they have installed.
Steve Holden, Horticon

On one of the sites, based in Port Salford used a blend of black rubber and yellow stone to create two separate pathways that were 3m wide. The project was intended to encourage walkers and cyclists to use pathways that were once inaccessible and encourage more people to get active within their commute.

Once Enviro-Pave has been installed on to a suitable sub-base it reduces the risk of flooding as it is fully porous, meaning it can be used all year round. It is also flexible and therefore less likely to crack and cause a trip hazard.

It is perfect for pathways like these as it needs minimal maintenance and can be used by pedestrians and cyclists, or even be used on equestrian trails and golf courses. It can even offer protection for tree bases!

The decorative aggregates help give the pathways a more natural look, while the black rubber used one of the most problematic waste materials known to man, and helps reduce landfills.
